Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge.

Go to your icons page in Livejournal and look at the first two icons (the one on the right and the one on the left). Pair up the characters in the two icons. Go to the next two and do the same until you have a list of ships. Then...well, write 'em.

Interesting possibilities...

Frank Iero/Draco Malfoy.
Alex Kapranos/Jack Harkness
Rodney McKay/Riding crop.

Well, I'm not going to write these, but if anyone else would like to, you would earn my eternal devotion...*tempts*

i. I met [livejournal.com profile] airinshaw today and she was utterly lovely. We had a most delightful chat about stroking Rodney McKay's belly and RayK's freakishness and how, precisely, Panic at the Disco lends itself to group slut fic. And how we are expecting the next installment of Supersaturation with avid glee. Also, FRANK!

ii. There's squeeing all over my flist about Frank Iero marrying his long-term girlfriend, and I kind of want to make a post about how tragic it is to have another good woman fall into the clutches of patriarchy by participating in the inherently sexist institution of marriage, but then I start thinking about Frank Iero as a tool of patriarchy and. Well.

Frank Iero ≈ tool of patriarchy = instant giggles.

So I guess I'll say good for them instead. *g* And what is particularly wonderful about this is seeing how quickly our fandom smacks down anyone who dares to say anything disparaging about Jamia Nestor. There are ugly stereotypes about how female fans of hot male stars are expected to behave in such situations, and I'm glad to see them overturned. :)

iii. Who's excited about seeing Panic this week? Who's enjoying the new songs? Who wants to make out with Brendon Urie behind the stage? Tell me all your secret Panic-related/induced/inspired thoughts!

iv. Ryan Ross is funny-looking. No wait, that's not news. *g*

My three pieces of canon on various characters. Such lovely procrastination. *g* Read more... )

Hello all,

Am feeling less depressed and crippled today. I had to call in sick yesterday because my arthritis kept me awake until five in the morning, which meant that when my alarm rang at seven I was somewhat unwell, and not ready to get up and go to work.

So I slept till two, and even though I wasn't able to leave the house, I managed to eat something (pitta bread with salad and feta) and not cripple myself further with excessive use of the keyboard (not that there wasn't excessive use of the keyboard).

However, some things happened that made me considerably less depressed.

1. I was forced (with gunpoint! against my will!) to renew my paid account at livejournal for two months. At various times during my paid account I had posted pictures of myself, you see, but without access to Scrapbook I couldn't delete them now, and I rather dislike the idea that there are pictures of me in the internet that I can't get rid of. So I signed up again, deleted them and found myself in possession of 110 icon slots. Which are now mostly filled with pictures of Frank Iero making silly faces and being pretty.

I know that Liverjournal is evil and all, and I don't think I should be giving them money, but. Frank Iero making silly faces and being pretty makes me immensely happy. *makes confused! Gerard face*

2. The rest of the day was spent looking through Etsy (thank you so much, [livejournal.com profile] jjtaylor, for alerting me to this wonderful site) and pining for things like hoodies with owls (I'm a Hoot!). I ended up buying a purple t-shirt with a peacock on it and the text "Proud" for [livejournal.com profile] pre_raphaelite1 because she is lovely and deserves presents. The joy of buying presents for others is a great thing - no guilt over spending money on frivolous things for oneself, only the pleasure of shopping! I warmly recommend this form of retail therapy.

3. The video of Teenagers on my tv. Gerard Way makes my soul happy. :D

4. Andandand! There was porn! For meeeeeeee!

Pictures of Me and You by [livejournal.com profile] xylodemon

Frank/Gerard, PG-13, 2300 words. In which Frank is tired, and Gerard is subtle like an anvil.

Go read, it is lovely.

Now, coffee. :)

And we have a FRANK!

It's kind of embarrassing how happy this makes me. Not that Patrick isn't lovely, but FRANK but the fact that Frank Iero's hotness is universally recognised and celebrated is rather wonderful. I've noticed a lot of people talking about (in the comments at [livejournal.com profile] weemo_closet) how Patrick should win because he's chubby - that is, that someone who isn't attractive in a normative sort of way should win, which I can appreciate and even agree with to a certain extent.

However, as one who is also tiny and (somewhat) tattooed, I can really appreciate the fact that Frank Iero is considered to be the epitome of sexiness in this fandom. That in this fandom being small and fearless and covered in tattoos, being unconcerned with normative attitudes to beauty (say, red eyeliner or crosses over his eyes or bleached mohican), are things to be admired - this means a lot. :)

Also, FRANK.

Wow that's a tight race. I gather Pete Wentz has mobilised all his minions and their livejournals in order to guarantee Patrick's victory? *g* While Patrick himself keeps blushing and tugging at his hat and saying "no, stop telling me about this, stop talking, Pete, shut up". And then Pete has to go and poke at his belly and tell him how sexy he is, yes?

Someone should write that. *pokes flist*

And if you still haven't voted, go to! Because FRANK. Look at his little face! How could you vote against such adorableness? ;)

A friend has asked me about what bandom boys tend to wear apart from skinny jeans and eyeliner, and I was forced to admit that in picspams, I'm uninclined to pay attention to bodyparts that are clothed, so um, help?

I know the My Chem boys wear less skinny jeans than most of bandom (tight jeans yes, esp. Gerard and Ray), but I'm finding it hard to describe their clothing habits otherwise. And make-up? What about Fall Out Boy, apart from Pete - t-shirts and hoodies, not make up? Panic (!) at the Disco?

Please help! Both pictures and illustrative porn are particularly welcome!
wildestranger: (naboo_star/frank idly)
Who is sexier, Frank Iero or Patrick Stump? Go here and vote.

Not that I wouldn't want to lick Patrick's belly and stroke his sideburns, but FRANK.

The best way to end an argument: "yes, I see your point, but FRANK." - y/n? :P

i. I've been awake for three hours and I really, really don't want to be. Awake or at work. I slept maybe four hours last night ( I blame the Pete/Patrick mpreg I discovered at the last minute, and had to spend an hour reading), and I spent all of yesterday travelling - five hours on the train and innumerable hours of moving about besides. Clearly my body is not made for this moving about thing. I have a delicate constitution!

Anyway, I feel like I have a hangover which is doubly unfair since I haven't had a drink in two months. On the other hand, haven't had a drink in two much, which: yay!

ii. In other news, I met up with [livejournal.com profile] fleshdress and [livejournal.com profile] _emeraldgreen yesterday, and we went to the Seduction Exhibition at the Barbican. Seduction, apparently, means lots of naked pictures, which, hey if that works for you then great, but I was expecting something more. There wasn't enough pre-1900 naked pictures, and what there was was a bit repetitive. However, there were highlights:

- Tentacle porn. No, really. A woman being accosted through numerous orifices by an octopus.
- Fisting photographs (Robert Mapplethorpe?). One of many times we realised we should be shocked by something, but being from the HP fandom, naturally weren't. Still, it was interesting to see half an arm inside someone's arse.
- Video footage of a woman getting head, but seen only from the shoulders up.
- Photographs of two young guys being friendly and sweet and finally naked with each other. Two tall, slim, attratcive guys in their twenties. In a variety of positions. We all agreed this was the best part.
- Being warned for homosexual sadomasochism, and then homo- and heterosexual graphic sex. Another time when we clearly were expected to be disturbed and shocked, but, being perverts, were not. Oh well.
- Tracey Emin's collage called "Is anal sex legal? Is legal sex anal?". This was particularly fun because it consisted mostly of extreme (yet artistic!) close-ups and we had to figure out what the various bodily organs were. Although we did agree that the snail had no place there. And I liked the armpit most. ;)

We also had lunch, coffee, and evening snack, and discussed many fannish topics. [livejournal.com profile] fleshdress expressed concern for all the bandom boys with their very tight girls' jeans, and how this would inevitably squish things. We spent some time considering how this might occur. She also indicated that Frank Iero would be her favourite if I managed to lure her into bandom, and I told her about how Frank likes to give blowjobs over bets, is tiny and adorable, and enjoys being petted by Gerard a lot. I also narrated the premises of a number of fics (Frank is an inexplicable angel! Frank likes to hurt Gerard then kiss him better! Frank makes friends with streetkids Gerard and Mikey! Patrick loses his tattoo virginity!), which means I'll have to provide some recs in the near future.

We also talked about how fandom is crazy, how Dean Winchester is awesome like pie, and how we should write a letter to the Guardian saying the exhibition wasn't shocking enough. Fun times. :)

iii. My brain wants to crawl out of my brain. Please send help. Or porn. Porn would be good. Or pictures of Frank Iero et al. Those are always welcome.
