I'm so sorry about the whole thing. I think it was a big misunderstanding, I did like your comments and I knew they were favourable, but I expressed myself badly. I was seriously just trying to discuss the story, but I think I came out as very defensive about my reading of the text, which I didn't intend, and am very apologetic about.

I'm slightly horrified that this is your first memory of me, but it is understandable. And I'm dreadfully sorry that it made you feel so bad at the time. If it's any consolation, I felt very disturbed and insecure for days after. *tentative smile*
