Ahem. During a moment of extreme boredom (extreme, I tell you!), I accidentally read some American Idol fanfic about David Cook and David Archuleta. I blame astolat, as I have never actually seen AI, nor do I want to (I sort of imagine Archuleta as a younger version of Brendon Urie who says gosh a lot, and Cook as a taller Jon Walker), and yet I found myself strangely enthralled by these characters. So, um. If anyone has any recs for fic other than astolat's, I'd be very happy to hear them. Whilst acknowledging my shame at indulging at a fandom that includes Simon Cowell, of course.

Thank you! There is something weirdly addictive about this relationship, but obviously I'm only indulging until bandom becomes more productive again. Or until astolat writes another one. ;)
