I used to quite like Radio 6 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/) before Mr Dogstail stoled the digital radio off me (purely on the basis that it technically belongs to him) and decided to keep it permanently on Radio 5. (Do not listen to Radio 5, btw, ever. It will make you want to smash things.)
The live music session on Radio 6 is called The Hub. This is good start, surely?
