I was a little unsure about the rating; I think at some point I thought there was going to be more explicit stuff, which then was deleted, and I guess I forgot about that when writing up the rating. Of course, you're right, it doesn't merit an R rating, unless you count a few suggestive phrases and mild implications of violence. I suppose I give an R rating by default, since most of my fics do have more explicit things in them. In any case, I should pay more attention.
But I'm pleased you enjoyed it despite the rating. :)
