I've been practicing BDSM for 4 years, and in a monogamous BDSM relationship with my husband for almost 2. I'm a switch and a sadist and masochist. Being a top or Domme does not neccesarily entail being a sadist as well. In my experience top and Domme are mostly interchangable terms.

BDSM practices can vary drastically from person to person, and a lot depends on the relationship between the Dom and sub.

I don't know wildestranger well enough to make a guess at what she is, but it's certainly an interesting poll.
