See, I have this theory that Hogwarts' houses are based on what the person values most rather than what qualities they possess (which would explain why Hermione is in Gryffindor rather than in Ravenclaw despite being more intelligent than anyone else). So, yes, this would put Rodney in Ravenclaw, because despite being brave, he values that considerable less than his own formidable intellect.
And Slytherin is the house for people who don't fit in anywhere else and look dark. So, John Sheppard. Although now I'm getting tempted to put him in Hufflepuff. All that loyalty...*g*
