Here is a drabble based on a suggestion from my housemate that I use the line "more than usual saints" in some sort of fanfiction. naturally The Malfoy Rhetoric suggested itself.

More than usual saints

“Such a fine gathering of friends! Virtuous Gryffindors coming to see the spectacle! Well the show awaits and the stage is set, and what more could you want than a villainous Slytherin to tear apart? A Malfoy, a Death Eater, a Dark Magician? But we have more than usual saints here tonight, we have a proper audience for the execution. See the heroes of the war come for the trial of their fallen foe, their former comrade, their adversary! Dumbledore, McGonagall, Moody, Flitwick, Lupin! Granger and the Weasel and Longbottom! And Harry Potter. The Boy Who Won. So proud of what he is about to do. So righteous.”

“Draco wake up. Stop shouting! It’s just a dream, you’re not on trial. Nobody is accusing you, Iam not accusing you.”

Startled eyes. Then cold.

“I still won’t forgive you.”
