Help!

Okay, my iPod seems to be breaking down and I'm in need of succour.

The screen has frozen, but the music is working fine and I can click on things and such. It just doesn't show me anything other than the middle of Regina Spektor's "Us". Which is not a bad place to be, as such, but still...

Any advice, or thoughts on what might be wrong? I bought new skins today and it was wearing one as it froze. *pouts and whimpers*

HELP? Please?

Did you try resetting and toggling the 'Hold' button? If not, try that. Also, just let the battery wear itself out, and it should become unfrozen.

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off.
2. Reset - Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. Then it should re-start fine.

If it is still a bit buggered there is an option to completely re-format it, but you have to put all your music back on it again afterwards. They are very flimsy things and seem to break down a lot. (even when you haven't dropped them in the bath *innocent whistle*)

And I'm glad to know that there are things one can do even if those options don't work. Or even if you drop them in the bottle. ;)
