Well, just IMO, I think that Ryan is intensely uncomfortable inside his own body. Just the way he holds himself in interviews, that hunch to his shoulders and his arms crossed.
What you feel projects to the outside, so he LOOKS awkward. 90% of what we find "sexy" or attractive is self-confidence. I mean, Harrison Ford? Is a plain, almost homely man. But he's got a swagger, and THAT makes him dead sexy. I don't think Ryan has a whole lot of self-confidence.
