Dressing Up Brendon fills me with such delight you can't imagine. I am taking a moment off writing -- and I'm a scene and a half from the end, so that's a big deal -- to imagine it and sigh delightedly. I need an icon of that photoshoot they did where they're outside and makeup accidentally made him look like a china doll. That is totally how I picture Brendon in this story.
There has to be the part where Spencer notes how pretty Brendon is. And the part where they realize how hopelessly provincial Brendon is, and how he'll never survive the ball. I don't know, I'd throw some making out in there, too, but maybe that's just in my head.
