I just want to say that I'm very disappointed in you all. Well, not all of you, but those who answered my previous question about what would you like to see happening in The Law of Seduction, and said "SEX!"

Really, children, have I ever let you down before? Have I ever written a story that didn't have sex? Of course they will have sex.

I thought you knew me by now. *tssks*

now now, I didn't outright ask for sex, just a little implied (all in Remus' head) bump and grind on the motorbike! phbbbt! ;-)

I was thinking of the other two. You, on the other hand, traumatised me with thoughts of U2 porn.

WHAT? I totally didn't advocate U2 porn ;) sheesh! just general lusty thoughts about certain guys in the band, excluding Adam Clayton though.

another reason I'm a dork: when I was in HS, a friend asked me to describe the perfect guy, (which at the time consisted of: longer dark hair, Irish accent, played guitar), and my friend teased me rightly so by saying: DUH, that's Bono. I did end up with the guitar part at least :)

Now what have you got against Adam Clayton? He's the only one that's actually cool.

And general lusty thoughts...yeah yeah. I'm sure you didn't.

awe, nothing against Adam Clayton, he just hasn't aged as gracefully as the rest (I'm so shallow). Now! Edge, dude, those spangly pants he used to wear ;) however, Bono's always been the main figure of admiration, My sis-in-law talked about having a big thing for Larry Mullen and motorcycles when she was a teenager.

(as proof of how much of a U2 fangirl I am, I read Unforgettable Fire, the biography about the band, and have a used LP and poster (much beat up sadly) of Joshua Tree. ;) )

Heh. Unforgettable Fire has quite a bad reputation as biographies go. I'd recommend A Conspiracy of Hope or U2 At THe End Of The World, or Race of Angels, which is deeply thougthful and well written, and my favourite of the lot. I've read around ten books on U2, and although I haven't bought one in eight years or so, I still have many fond memories of them.

I also have twenty odd posters hidden in a closet in my mother's house. hee.

wow

okay, I'm a very minor fangirl compared to your copious research and poster hoarde ;-) seriously, very cool!
yeah, Unforgettable Fire was very er, fanboy like. It had god photos though of their early gigs. I'll have to keep those books in mind if I get another need to learn more about the band and their philosophy.
