sarcasm always wins out in the end

I have been thinking about my use of livejournal and dreamwidth recently. While I know that many of you prefer lj, I am also aware that a lot of people would like to move towards dreamwidth as the fandom blogging device of choice. I'm leaning towards that way myself, since I remember the livejournal fail from HP fandom and don't forgive and don't forget (and don't intend to). Which is not to say that I'm planning to abandon lj - no - but I would also like to support a move, even a partial one, towards dreamwidth. And one form this can take is usin dreamwidth more.

So, how many of your are on dreamwidth and either prefer it or prefer it and lj equally? Cause I'm thinking of removing some people exclusively to dreamwidth and reading them there, which would make me read it more and comment there more, rather than the double journalling I get now. Okay, if you've decided on a different username on Dreamwidth, please come and poke at me with it so I can find you. Or if you have the same username but I've somehow ignored you, also, come and poke! I'm happy to friend everybody on Dreamwidth that I have friended on lj, I'm just being lazy about it so, seriously, come and poke. Also, I like to be poked, so... I possibly won't respond immediately - am off to a conference this weekend, but will do once I get back.

Also, while we're on that subject - DON'T BREAK TEH INTARWBES WHILE I'M AWAY. No piggysniffles, no stalking of celebrities and giving them our porn, no fail of anykind. Got it?

I am still a little confused by the differences between granting access and subscribing, and the different levels of friendship this indicates. Um. Also, I am troubled by the fact that I cannot make my journal green.
