i. They are really pretty. I'm very pleased with the show's willingness to display the stars' most lickable bodies - so far there's been Sam in a towel, Dean in a variety of tight shirts as well as shirtless, and most delicious cuts and bruises on both. Not that I'm a pervert that way or anything, but, you know, cuts on cheekbones! Split lips! Torn clothes!*g*

ii. The emoporn. I was telling a friend about Supernatural the other day, and started to explain the concept of emoporn. It's like romance without the sex! It's all about their feelings and how to talk about them without talking about them! I fully approve of people who deflect any attempt to talk about their feelings with mockery and accusations of being a girl. These are my kind of people. *licks Dean*

iii. This show is really funny. Not only the mocking, which is delightful, but just...Dean singing Metallica when he's scared? Will never stop being funny. *g*

iv. There is actually a background plot, not just episodic not-really-scary bits. Which is all about family angst, and strapping young men striving against each other, and...okay, I got distracted by the pretty again. But yes, the plot has much potential. And not just for wincest.

v. There is much good porn, and much good character-based porn. Which is what matters in any show. *g* But really. Great porn.

*grins* I am so glad to see you're enjoying the show!

I think the thing I like the most (well, like the most right after the prettiness) is that they are actually fairly decent actors, so there isn't any bad acting to distract from the pretty. A huge plus in my book!

Out of curiosity, how many episodes are you through?

Which is why fic in this fandom is so terrific. Whether you're into gen or wincest or both, there is no shortage of wonderful stories. And if you're a writer, it's like this neat grab bag of ideas that never end.

And I'm telling you, TPTB cater to us, they really do. *g* Week after week they just give us more to work with. I swear they are all old fanfic writers themselves. *g*
