Mmm, cake. And wine.

i. It hasn't stopped raining for two days. Oh English summer, I knew that the heatwave (back in April?) was an optical illusion. No doubt brought on by too much summery wine.

ii. Additionally, the party of drunken abandon and drooling over fit men in films that I was supposed to attend tonight has been cancelled because the trains aren't running. Because of the rain. Argh. I bought myself some summery pyjamas in compensation because pyjamas are a) a useful, and therefore a virtuous buy, and b)happy-making. Also on sale, so overwhelmingly virtuous. *is full of virtue* I also bought wine. *is full of wine*

iii. I also have M&S raspberry cheesecake. Nothing in the world is better than this. Mmm, cake.

iv. I feel these three points encapsulate my life perfectly - whining about the weather and making happy noises about wine and cake. I've also decided that once I've finished Adventures in High Life I'm going to count how much alcohol they've had during the series. I have a feeling it's going to be quite a lot. *g*

I have wine too, but not enough by a long chalk. Someone seems to have snuck in while I was at work and drunk most of it when i wasn't looking.

It's been warm and sunny where you are? No fair! And hasn't it been horribly rainy everywhere today? It was in the news! *sulks*

Well, I just finished one bottle and am now opening another one. At least there is wine. :)

Mmm, wine and cheesecake. I'm very jealous! Sorry about the cancelled thing though, which sounds very unfair. Drooling and drunkeness sound good, so I hope you get to reschedule. We can't have you missing out on these things.

It, um, might be? To be fair it's more likely to be warm in July. There's even a good chance of a heatwave.

And I always want wine. Especially since French is more likely to be good quality. :)

Though now I wonder if I will be allowed to drink any of these... because I'm taking my medicine till the end of July for (er, "against" I mean, but I'm confused as for the right word to choose here) my allergy. *ponders*

Ask your doctor? I've been on heavy medication (for arthritis) for six years and been drinking constantly throughout, and my doctors say it's fine. :)

M&S has this two raspberry and strawberry cheesecake slices for 2.19. I've bought three of them this week. There is nothing tastier in the world.
