Re: my fall on Friday.

I spent most of yesterday sleeping and throwing up, but I'm fairly sure this is because of too much wine and not enough food, and not due a head injury.

Today what remains is a soreness in my right ear (I hit my ear and then my head in the first fall - smacked against another patron's bar stool. Am so classy and elegant.) and in the skin behind it, some crazed knuckles (The other guy totally looks worse. Well, the other guy being a gravelly road on the way home, but still.), two circular scratches on my elbow, and a 2cm x 1cm wound on my shoulder, which looks like a self-made tattoo of cartoon breasts.

Please refrain from laughing. This is not funny. Especially if I end up having to get a tattoo to cover the scar. My skin is not as young as it used to be, and scars tend to not fade.

Well, perhaps just a snicker.

I won't laugh, because I took a nasty fall once that left me with a not-so-pretty scar just above my left knee that is too severe to be tattooed over. Good thing I never really show off my legs.

Too severe to be tattooed over? How distressing. That is possibly one of my worst nightmares since I do love my tattoos.

I'm feeling a lot better today, it's mostly just the raw skin on my shoulder and elbow anymore. Although I keep finding new bruises in strange places. Damn gravity.

It's in a place I'd never consider putting a tattoo anyway, but, yes, it's thick enough that I imagine tattooing wouldn't really work anyway :-P

Although I did in fact have a minion with me on the way back, but apparently that wasn't enough. I shall have to invest in portable chairs or something.
