After a conversation on scribblinlenore's journal, I started thinking about what makes somebody a good pleasure slave for fictional purposes? What kind of character traits would be useful in making scenarios with pleasures slaves more thrilling? How would, say, the petulant sulkiness of Ryan Ross compare with the petulant sulkiness of Rodney McKay? How about the respective energeticnesses of Brendon Urie and Captain Jack Harkness? Hence, a poll.

Note: Female characters are purposefully excluded from this poll, because I find the concept of female pleasure slaves considerably more disturbing and problematic. Feel free to judge me on that, but it's a thing I have.

Frank would be deliciously angry and provocative and would look great in a collar. Draco, on the other hand, lends himself to a number of tantalising scenarios.

Rodney McKay would be petulant and sulky while putting a lot of energy into giving a backrub and lecturing on the indignities of owning/being a pleasure slave. Ryan Ross would be petulant and sulky while giving a blowjob.

My somebody else is Star Trek Reboot Captain Kirk. This is because of something said by someone I can't remember. Kirk is probably one of the only people in the world to fail to notice being sold as a sex slave. At the time, he just thinks he drank himself stupid (not roofied) and then met a series of increasingly friendly people who like sex!

I knew Draco would be popular, but I think that he would not as good as Sirius enjoying doing what people order him to do. (Sirius wouldn't actually take orders, but he'd think they were all good ideas.) I can imagine Draco being sullen, which is not how I usually imagine Sirius. It's strange how one's interpretation of such things is informed by the assumptions one makes about where from canon you are pulling the character. Sirius, of course, comes mostly from Marauder era fanon, and is therefore well on the way to being a pleasure slave.

What about women having female pleasure slaves? Can we have a poll on which fiction woman one would prefer to be a pleasure slave for?
