i. Have made a small flist-cut. It's not because I hate you. We've just grown apart as people, etc.

ii. I have acquired a Dead!-hoodie, which, despite being a size small, is big enough for me to curl into a ball and fit inside it. Hmm. *is very small* At least I managed to scandalise the aspirational middle class patrons at Brown's, who clearly felt that people with Dead!-hoodies should not be frequenting such establishments or enjoying their afternoon tea there. Oh the joys of transgression. ;)

iii. Re: SGA S4 - now that both John Sheppard and Rodney McKay have been established as gay, do you think that we can expect a kiss at some point? Thoughts? Illustrative porn?

iv. A question for the ages: Why is Ryan Ross so funny-looking? He has a perfectly good face, with cheekbones and a mouth and everything that should be attractive, and yet he just looks weird and awkward. Can anyone shed light on this mystery?

Or maybe it's just that he looks a lot like my 14-year-old sister, which is not a suitable look for any young man. *g*

Well, just IMO, I think that Ryan is intensely uncomfortable inside his own body. Just the way he holds himself in interviews, that hunch to his shoulders and his arms crossed.

What you feel projects to the outside, so he LOOKS awkward. 90% of what we find "sexy" or attractive is self-confidence. I mean, Harrison Ford? Is a plain, almost homely man. But he's got a swagger, and THAT makes him dead sexy. I don't think Ryan has a whole lot of self-confidence.

I think you may be right. That would also go with his clothing choices - in most pictures that I've seen he's wearing clothes that don't quite fit, or clothes that are too big.

And to be honest, he does look like my sister, which perhaps makes him funny-looking just for me. ;)

iv. An excellent question to which I have no answer. There are rare occasions when I look at a picture and think, "Huh, he's a moderately attractive boy," then I look at every other picture of him ever and remember that no, actually, he's just funny-looking.

Yeah, that's the thing - he has a beautiful face, but there is something weird about it. He looks funny when he smiles. Of course, that could be just the dope. ;)

Ryan Ross is funny-looking because he never looks comfortable in his skin. Like he would really rather be somewhere else, and he has no idea why anybody would want to look at him in the first place. Which is an odd attitude for a former teenaged camwhore to have, but that's the vibe I always get.

I have not heard of a Dead!hooide, but presume it is something like a regular hoodie. I wonder if your fellow patrons at Brown's were less scandalised than concerned about the welfare of that poor little waif, so swamped in fabric it looked like she was being eaten by her own clothing? ;)
